This is my first week back from my wedding and honeymoon. Still getting back into the swing of things, but it’s nice to be back with you guys and the markets!
Today we finally saw some panic come back in the markets… That’s actually a breath of fresh air since we’ve been in this slow bullish trend. The Transportation index (Symbol: $TRAN) has been falling off the high’s for the past couple of weeks, which is interesting because this index typically leads the S&P500. However, the S&P fell off today and the TRAN didn’t do anything.
Oil was very volatile and gave us some incredible opportunity in the afternoon. We were able to step in front of the panic on the NQ, but the TF and ES were at key support prior to breaking the key areas. Either way, it was some nice trading today.
